My degree in architectural technology and two years of basic engineering has helped to understand the terminology and language in the maintenance and construction fields. I am currently handling several district-wide property management maintenance services: fencing, board-up, security, asbestos survey, asbestos-abatement, demolition and removal, right of way clearing and leasing. My current and past involvement with the Miami Intermodal Center Program (MIC) has given me the experience in reading, understanding and creating specification language for maintenance and construction projects. I am providing the district right of way property management administrators with an update budget allocation report, managing work orders as per term of agreement to the completion of projects. I have excellent skills in communicating with internal and external customers. I have over 30 years experience in customer service and public relations. I have an open line of communication with all contractors to make sure that all work orders are successfully complete and all related inquiries are property satisfied. The educational experience has helped me in bringing all my contracts to a successful completion. During my twenty years of working with the state agencies:Children and Families and Florida Department of Transportation, I have developed extraordinary skills in creating financial analysis reports; develop tracking systems for actions required in the property management maintenance, asbestos-demolition section. I am capable and have the availibity of using, adapting and learning new computer programs and applications.

My ten years of experience in real estate in property management and involvement with the Department had been an asset toward my professional career. I am very familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. I relied on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. As a Right of Way Agent, I am involved with researches, negotiating and elect to purchase short- and long-term lease of land agreements and right of way for construction that meet the Department's goals. Handle all land related legal issues, including transfers of titles and deeds, construction, mortgage concerns, and zoning. Prepare resolutions and other legal forms related to land acquisitions.
