Hi! I’m Anna, a passionate third-year student in the McGill Biomedical program, majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience. I’m fascinated by the complexities of the human mind, and I will be exploring how genes and brain physiology shape our behaviours and cognitive function. Through actively engaging in research within the Sheldon Memory Lab at McGill, volunteering to teach children with special needs how to swim, and dedicating time at to volunteer at the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness, and shadowing dental practices, I'm deeply immersed in psychology and healthcare. Beyond academics, I thrive as a swim instructor, guiding children to learn to swim with good technique and without fear of the water. I also have adored playing the trumpet since grade 7, and have held held principal positions in renowned bands like the Conference of Independent Schools Music Festival. Looking ahead, I aspire to delve deeper into cognitive psychology and behavioral neuroscience, fueling my passion to understand the human mind!
