In 2017, together with a group of young leaders, I founded a non-governmental organization called Ukrainian Volunteer Service to develop the culture of volunteering in Ukraine. Ukrainian Volunteer Service introduces citizens to volunteering, grows volunteer communities in all regions of Ukraine, strengthens the capacity of civil society institutions in cooperation with volunteers, and advocates for volunteering in Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale invasion by Russia, the Ukrainian Volunteer Service has mobilized more than 100,000 volunteers to help Ukrainians overcome the challenges of the war. Ukrainian Volunteer Service has coordinated volunteers all over Ukraine, including on the frontline and in temporarily occupied cities. The volunteer teams help the elderly and socially-vulnerable groups.

As a lecturer at Ukrainian Catholic University, I teach volunteer management courses in the only master's program in non-profit management in Ukraine. Within the course, students develop their skills in volunteer engagement, leadership, orientation and motivation of volunteers, and evaluation.

Based on the request from the State Educational Program Youth Worker, I developed specialized national training for youth workers on volunteer management. I trained two groups of trainers ready to share their knowledge online and offline, and conducted trainings myself. The program meets the needs of youth workers from local communities, consolidated communities, and rural areas.

To strengthen the capacity of Caritas Ukraine to engage and manage volunteers, I conducted research among the community of volunteers, partners, and staff members of the association. I developed Volunteer Management Handbook and a training program for volunteer coordinators based on the research results.

Within the national DOBRE program, I conducted offline training for the youth workers from the consolidated communities of Mykolayiv oblast. The topics of the workshops included the basics of youth work, volunteer management, and youth advocacy.

Based on the request from UN Volunteers and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, I designed a training program on the basics of volunteering and volunteer management. The target audience of the training program includes civil society activists, human rights activists, and youth workers.

As a Head of Youth Programs, I was responsible for developing and maintaining youth empowerment programs making the most of every opportunity to support young professionals, youth leaders, and students. I dedicated my time to developing a network of university youth leaders, maintaining a local volunteer community, and providing educational and community events to youth people.

Kiev Dialogue is an international program funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which aims to develop tight communication between prominent Ukrainian and German experts. As a part of the Odesa team, I managed local program activities and organized events.

As a part of the Festival's organizing committee, I was responsible for designing the volunteer program and leading the volunteer force of the Festival. Each year we engaged and trained more than 100 volunteers in charge of all aspects of the event.
