I recently coached the Founders of 10 start-up's from Barclays Techstars . Following their journeys from, not knowing quite what to say and how to say it, to watching them pitch to the investors on demo day, has been truly inspiring. We worked on body language, voice and how to tell the story of their companies, and every single founder came across with poise and passion, and found a real security on stage. Techstars is a wonderful program, equipping each start up with the skills needed to flourish. It has been a joy to work with them.

My associates and I work with the teams at Startup Wise Guys to improve their media skills so that any virtual meeting, pitch or presentation stands out and makes the biggest impact possible.

I have been working with the British Army, Navy and Air force for a number of years now, and in a number of different capacities; I teach interview technique, advise on recruitment strategies (which includes presentation and communication training) as well as coaching on interpersonal and welfare skills. Working with the forces is an incredibly rewarding task, as, with team, management and leadership featuring so strongly in their ethos, they can take what they learn into every area of their lives.

At Birmingham University I work with the PHD Students, helping them with presentation techniques at the stage of them having finished their dissertations, just before they have to give presentations about them in front of their peers, lecturers and prospective employers. Often the students have been studying hard for years, but haven't had to stand up and talk in front of people for most of that time so have little idea of how to go about doing it well! It's wonderful to see the transformation - they often go from being nervous, quiet, shy students to being confident, passionate individuals brimming with knowledge and excitement to share their discoveries!

Rebelroam is a tech company that improves Wi-fi on public transport. We spent the day in their incredible multi-story office in Talinn, working out how to communicate this message to everyone - be it investors, potential clients or someone you meet at a bar. Making the message simple is key, and through sharing real life stories of how poor wifi connection on public transport has affected us individually, we were able to see how to make the company relevant to anyone around the world. Through listening techniques, stage techniques and role-play, we worked out the best strategy for each member of the company to approach their particular field with clarity and gravias.

Back in 2013 Selah Theatre Company was founded off the back of winning a slot the Accidental Festival at The Round House in Camden. A group of recent drama school grads devised a play, and decided we wanted to carry on and form a company! Since then we have performed numerous plays at the Edinburgh Fringe and in London, but we have also branched out to do Educational Theatre and Outreach too, and it's under this banner that I deliver coaching for presentations and communications around the UK. I have worked with people young and old, in corporate settings, at festivals and in theatres. Selah, meaning Stop and Think, is the word at the heart of all we do, and that's what we want the presentations we coach to result in.
