The Office of Social Impact Investment (OSII) leads the NSW Government's work in impact investment. Responsible for building new Business Engagement Program for OEF Foundation. This included working with OEF’s Oceans Beyond Piracy program to facilitate a greater role for the private sector in reducing piracy off the coast of Somalia. During this time, I produced two in-depth annual reports on “The Economic Impact of Somali Piracy” for 2011 and 2012.

• In June 2013, UK Prime Minister David Cameron launched the G8 Social Impact Investment Taskforce, with a remit to catalyse a global market for investments that deliver social benefit. Australia was the only country.
• Co-authored the Australian national strategy for impact investing (Australia's contribution to the G8 Taskforce)
• Contributed to and co-authored several high-level government submissions (e.g. Financial Services Inquiry, Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services.

• Produced in-depth analyses and mapping on the challenges and opportunities for institutional investors in impact investing
• Authored ‘Global Signatory Recruitment Strategy’: in-depth analysis of 35 countries and markets, to strategically direct the organization’s outreach to institutional investors
• Responsible for internal/external briefings, reports, and speech-writing on responsible investment developments and trends.

Conducted research and interviews throughout the Philippines, including conflict areas, with government officials, rebel groups, and NGOs, to assess the interaction between economic development policy and armed conflict in the Southern Philippines. Awarded two scholarship awards for fieldwork from Oxford University.
