Senior Policy Researcher and Research Lead for PPI UK Pensions Framework, bringing together analysis and policy implications of how socioeconomic and demographic change are driving outcomes related to adequacy, sustainability and fairness in the UK state and private pension system.2023 research focuses on how falling levels of home ownership among working age groups look set to drive changes in housing tenure in retirement, and what the changes could mean for retirement outcomes and the UK pension system as a whole. Wider in depth research experience includes policy response to demographic population ageing, evolving transitions in later life, population health and social care. Key areas of focus also include intergenerational trends in long-term savings; international pension systems and their sustainability; structural and social determinants of health, wealth and digital inequality; and the interactions between health and social care systems and funding. Extensive experience working with asset, investment and pension fund managers across topics including regulatory impact assessment, post-merger integration, portfolio analytics, order management and execution platforms. Master’s degree in Public Policy and Ageing from King’s College London with distinction. Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
