Architect with 20 years of experience in Architecture, Urban Design and Urban Planning.She started her carrier in architectural design and construction supervision, especially in the field of renovation of historical buildings in Italy. Over time, she specialized in integrated building design, with a special attention to energy efficiency, sustainability and reduction of architectural barriers.Since 2006, she is working in urban design, urban regeneration and long-term town planning projects. She collaborated in the drafting of airport master plans for several Italian and international airports through Regional Analysis, concept and preliminary design, including the layout of Air/Rail/Road Intermodal connections.In 2011, she moved to East Africa providing consultancy to Public Institutions, among which the City of Kigali, on Construction Permitting and Urban Design Procedures review, upgrading and public spaces design and implementing policies. Since 2015 she’s working on urban design at various scales with special focus on public spaces, upgrading and regeneration projects, applying co-design and participatory processes. She lectured on Participatory neighborhood design for informal settlements upgrading and public spaces design.
