Utilized data-informed approach to strengthen students’ attendance, behavior, and academic performance. 100% of cohort advanced to 10th grade on time.Fostered positive, sustainable partnership with partner school, Newtown High School, a Title 1 high school in Elmhurst, Queens. Collaborated with teammates and school administration to provide academic and enrichment programming, including college visits and career shadowing. Provided in-class support in ELA and US History and tutoring in all core subjects. Coordinated and supervised implementation of after-school tutoring service. Selected to participate in a 25-person council focused on improving operations across 22 partner schools; presented findings and recommendations to Managing Director of Service.

Supported the programming side of WCI, a NGO focused on empowering women to participate in and take leadership roles in politics, the economy, civil society, and peace-building. Drafted grant applications, researched potential programs and partnerships, and wrote and revised program reports and proposals. Focused especially on WCI's response to Ebola in Liberia.
