I am a recent graduate of Florida State University, where I received my Master of Science (MS) degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS) with a 3.9 GPA. I also hold a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from FSU in Environment and Society with certification in applications of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in emergency management (EM).I graduated with my master's degree in December 2022 and am seeking a career within fields of GIS, EM, and/or UAS. I am proficient in ESRI's ArcGIS software, having received 15 different ESRI certifications. am also versed in other open-source GIS supporting software such as QGIS, Agisoft Metashape, and ERDAS Imagine. I have work experience utilizing my GIS skills within the emergency management field as a deputy planning section lead for FSU's Disaster Incident Research Team (DIRT), where I received 6 different certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). I am an FAA Part 107 certified commercial UAS pilot with 200+ hours of flight time. I also have experience utilizing Studio to code with the language R to visually represent statistical data gathered from outside sources or remote sensing instrumentation.
