At Claire's there were always promotions and discounts I would need to keep on top of and inform customers on. At Numark I have gained experience in working independently. I have a rapport with over 500 pharmacies in the South of the country. Being able to call pharmacies and speak to the relevant individual was important when dealing with pharmaceutical products. I was able to build relationships with pharmacists, receive orders for various 'over the counter' drugs and medicines, including prescription medicines. I would give Numark members a call each month to send out deals and promotions. I had the responsibility of placing orders and keeping a record of them. I would need to keep in contact with the PDM's (pharmacy development managers) out on the road and work closely with them to achieve targets. Every month I would arrange to meet the PDM's and travel to their specific territory in the South. I would visit various Numark members and speak with the pharmacists face to face which helped build a relationship with them greatly.
