In this role, I review and copy edit manuscripts, create content for social media, and perform an assortment of administrative tasks. I also support project management efforts, helping to move along the production of books.

In this role I reviewed editorial submissions using Submittable, and drafted acceptance and rejection letters based on the quality of the submissions. I created social media posts using Canva and wrote captions for Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Receive and review prose submissions, organize and hold voluntary review meetings, select the best pieces and work closely with writers by providing edits and general guidance, contribute to creating a cohesive literary journal.

Select themes for each edition, develop unique pitches, edit articles with an eye for creative voice and precision, communicate with writers and designers, upload articles on CMS.

Assisted in editorial work while performing administrative tasks.
