Presented findings at AASHE's Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education in a session called "Sustaining the Next Generation of Environmentalists".

Acted as a representative for promoting MSU’s sustainability initiatives. Primary responsibilities included engaging with MSU students through sustainable and educational community events. Acted as a liaison to a group of students working to petition MSU's president for sustainable action and helped develop a university-wide sustainability brief. Monitored recycling and waste stations to ensure they were up to building standards. Attended monthly meetings to report on progress, plan events, and receive additional training.

Lived and worked in residential halls to build an inclusive community for students. This was achieved through interpersonal outreach to a diverse range of residents, documentation of these interactions to track student health, and planning community events. ICAs researched, designed, and facilitated a weekly roundtable discussion (MultiRacial Unity Living Experience) in teams of four people. RTDs were held to bolster community relationships, educate on key social and cultural issues, and discuss current events. This position required weekly training and education on cultural competency, world issues, world history, and sociological principles.

Worked as the first point of contact for neighbors utilizing ANC services. This entailed assisting neighbors to enroll in Medicaid or the Ingham County Health Plan, food assistance programs, or housing services. Canvassed the neighborhood to complete a spring survey of neighbor's needs, concerns, and interactions with ANC. Sought out and wrote grants to maintain and expand existing programs. Acted as an extra pair of hands on all of ANC's in-house programs such as the Youth and Senior programs, the Veggie Box exchange, and the Farmer's Market.
