With over 20 years experience in national security and international relations, Anna currently leads UK Government security policy for subsea telecoms cables at the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology. Prior to this role Anna spent 10 years as a British Diplomat at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office working in London and overseas representing UK interests and leading teams developing and implementing foreign policy including on maritime security, countering State threats in the cyber domain, peace keeping and building. Anna has exceptional people skills and has successfully led large teams through considerable ambiguity. She has delivered UK objectives in international negotions at the G8, International Maritime Organization, and UN and bilaterally with international governments. Anna holds a PhD in Future Studies and is an experienced strategist having worked in both the public and private sectors on strategy planning. She brings these skills into her work ensuring policies are robust, strategic and future proof.
