Engineering intern. Worked in the Vessel Design & Engineering department to support efforts in concept design, weight estimates, resistance calculations, and stability analysis.

Engine cadet. Worked aboard the hospital ship USNS Comfort in the engine department for eight weeks. Assisted in general maintenance of the vessel while completing Webb Institute's detailed Sea Term Project.

Shipyard intern. Worked with the mechanical department and helped with engine alignment, propeller refurbishment, and general maintenance.

Sailmaker. Worked in the repair department to fix common problems occurring from sail age/UV damage as well as unique situations resulting from intense racing and other circumstances. Additionally, experience with canvas work including the creation and repair of boom covers and various custom work.
