Support staff on all Center research projects, including grant proposals, research design, and Internal Review Board (IRB) applications. Conduct literature reviews and aid in the organization and implementation of Center events.Currently working on the Center’s multi-project research initiative addressing sexual assault on college campuses. Also working on a project with a multidisciplinary research team and community partners to better understand factors affecting women’s birth control choices and to evaluate the impact of providing women with contraceptive counseling.

Co-authoring a paper and presentations exploring experiences of disenfranchised grief and ambiguous loss among transgender individuals during their transition.Conducting qualitative research to explore factors impacting voluntary sex-worker disclosure-of-occupation to mental health care providers, barriers and facilitators of receiving mental health services, desired practitioner responses to disclosure, and areas for educational growth among mental health care practitioners.

Conducted intake interviews and individual counseling sessions. Provided care for students experiencing a diverse range of presenting problems including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, intimate relationship issues, and academic challenges.

Provided emotional support for residents suffering from eating disorders, engaged clients in supportive activities, observed group therapy sessions, prepared and led processing of meals, and assisted in the everyday functioning of the facility.
