I am currently working as a supervisor for H Samuel signet. I started as a sales advisor where I undertook various training courses to gain more knowledge of the job and products. I was then promoted to supervisor and have grew in both confidence and skills ever since. The main duties of my job are communicating and advising customers on products and purchases. However as a member of the management team I on a daily basis lead the team and coach less confident members of the sales staff so that they can better there performance and skills. I am also a great ear for the team and have been chosen to be confided in on numerous issues over the years. A main part of my role is recruitment which is a real passion of mine. It gives me great pleasure to hire people,coach them and watch them grow. Many people I have hired have gone on to management positions within the company.
