After my first semester of college in 2018, I quickly realized I wanted to graduate debt free. I joined the Ohio Army National Guard to help pay for my schooling. I decided to become a Blackhawk Helicopter Mechanic and went to schooling for that. I graduated top of my class and was meritoriously promoted as well as given the Army Achievement Medal for being Honor Graduate. After taking a semester off for the military, I went back to finish school and get as much hands-on experience as I could. I took several animal sciences courses through the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. I participated in two study abroad programs during my time at OSU. The first program was European Equestrian Studies in the United Kingdom in the Spring of 2020. The second program was Scotland's Ruminants in Scotland in Spring of 2023. These experiences have given me important knowledge and perspective that you just can't find in the classroom. Aside from my coursework, I have done many different jobs to get as much experience as I can to find out what I excel in and what I want to have a career in.
