I am a student at the University of Auckland in my penultimate year studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce and majoring in Accounting and Taxation. These are areas that I have enjoyed learning about in prior courses and am excited to dive further into as I complete my degree and move into the workforce, with an aspiration to get into the area of audit and financial assurance.So far, during my time at Auckland University, I have developed a wide range of skills, from time management and teamwork to working with generative AI and other emerging technologies.Currently, I work as a casual Catering Assistant with Collective Hospitality. In this role, I work as a barista, serve catering, set up and pack events, and more. Through this, I have had great practice interacting with others, working within a team, and ensuring that everything I do is completed to the highest standard.In my spare time, I enjoy doing a wide range of activities. These activities range from playing netball to sewing clothes. I am also very interested in outdoor adventure, leading me to complete an Outward Bound course at the start of 2022.I also have experience volunteering, mainly as a member of Rotary's Interact Club at Rosehill College from 2020-2022, where I helped fundraise for various charities.
