I’m a current Medical science student at the Technological University of Dublin, Grangegorman and have just completed my first year. My modules so far have included Infection and Immunity, Physiology, Biostatistics and Professional Practice. My degree is healthcare oriented and I am familiar with Standard Operating Procedures, the different types of culture media, leukocyte analysis, gram stains and GDPR so far after completing year one. It is a CORU registered programme which enables me to work in the pathology laboratories in hospitals.I have work experience in a vaccination programme in Cremore Clinic Glasnevin and Pathology Department in the Mater Hospital. In addition to that I volunteered for the Irish Cancer Society and Friends of the Elderly. I have worked in the service industry since June of 2022 with Fitzer’s Catering which has recently transitioned into Levy.
