With a joyful heart and a passion for healthcare, I'm a newly licensed RN looking to get my foot in the door and start my career. I have the drive and determination to meet my goals and bring a warm, nurturing personality to the bedside. I'm extremely passionate about women's healthcare and strive to give my patients a strong, calm, educated, and informed person to turn to. While I was in nursing school I took it upon myself to be trained as a doula through DONA International and the Academy of Certified Birth Educators to better understand all aspects of what it means to help families during one of the most important seasons of their lives and what it means not just to be a nurse providing medical care, but to be a trauma-informed advocate, helping them to achieve the safest outcome while maintaining their autonomy and personal choices and supporting them with evidence-based practice.
