I have worked as part of a team at high-profile festivals such as Glastonbury, Kendal Calling and Manchester Pride. Additionally, I have worked at venues such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Albert Hall in Manchester alongside my degree.

United Kingdom

Responsible for attending to the needs of each individual animal and administering medication. I also walked the dogs twice a day and cleaned the kennels and cattery daily.

Canada

Looked after a cabin of 8-9 children, including preparing them for activities. I also instructed on the high ropes course, as well as horse riding. I held a Bronze Cross and First Aid with CPR-C qualification for this position, awarded by the Canada Lifesaving Society.

Between May - September, I completed work experience placements at 3 different veterinary practices. Here, I observed consultations and surgeries of various animals, sterilised operating rooms and surgical instruments (autoclave) and assisted the vets with animal handling. Also, I reassured and communicated with the owners, and gained experience performing.
