I set up Zeal Coaching & Consulting in July 2020. As a HR professional for 20 years I know the challenges people encounter in achieving their career aspirations, managing work life balance, getting recognised for the work they do, dealing with difficult colleagues, being an effective leader, feeling stuck and not sure what direction to go in and so on. I also managed lots of redundancy programmes and have a keen sense of the support people need, emotional and practical when moving on. Zeal is about supporting professionals at all stages of their career and dealing with the challenges along the way, be that within their current role or in securing a new one.

In this role I supported our Ireland and US based employees in areas including, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Wellness, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management, Comp & Benefits, Open Working (Remote & Hybrid working)

As an Associate Consultant for LHH, I support people through career transition. My work includes helping people identify their skills and accomplishments but also their interests and values, so they can target their job search to roles and companies, that they can be happy and fulfilled in. Other areas of support include communications strategy & marketing plan, setting up their own business, CV, networking, interview preparation and LinkedIn profile.

As a member of the site Leadership team, I drove the people strategy for the site, influencing change, coaching leaders to foster increased engagement and performance. Delivered the full suite of HR services including Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement etc. Significant projects included Transfer Of Undertakings, Change Agent for HR shared services model including implementation of new HR systems and managing the site closure from a people perspective. In addition to supporting employees at the Leixlip site, I also provided HR support to our Europe based remote workers across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic.

Supported both Operations and Functional teams in a HR Business Partnering capacity, including coaching managers regarding performance issues, communications & inter personal conflict. Supported the Performance Management & Compensation Planning processes as well as Talent Management & Succession Planning, HR Policy, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Grievance & Disciplinary processes and Redundancy Programmes.

In this role core responsibilities included the administration of the Site Benefits programmes and Reward & Recognition programmes as well as conducting Benchmarking and participating in Salary Surveys. During my time in this role I was part of a team that worked on outsourcing HR activities, which included working with the systems provider on customizing the system specifications and multiple trips to the Europe based Service Centre, to support the transition of activities and successful implementation of the new model.
