Having completed the Sleep Counsellor training I have since worked as sleep counsellor for families on a weekly basis. At the first meeting a detailed interview is completed in order to fully assess the sleep issue. The second visit involves a visit to the family home and following this a sleep programme is given to the family. They are then given follow up support until they feel they are happy with the outcome of the support and progress has been made.

Responsible for regular observations and feedback to the Children's panel, managing complaints procedure, a good working relationship with the Area Support Team and the general committee.

Working at a large variety of venues and in differing roles. Usually responsible for a specific area within an event and the group of staff within that area. Involves ensuring correct set up and clear down of area, addressing health and safety issues and cash handling.

I began as a volunteer in 2007 until gaining the leader position in 2009.I currently organise and run two youth clubs for children and young people diagnosed with high functioning autism or Aspergers. The clubs run on a weekly basis and have proved successful in enabling friendships and development of the members. I am responsible for a team of volunteers and the general activities as at the club as whole.

I was responsible for organise and run a monthly youth group for young people with an acquired brain injury.

Through my involvement with the RNID I was approached to be a volunteer advisor on deaf and hard of hearing issues. I work alongside a hard of hearing gentleman to help make BRC volunteers to be aware of issues when working with someone who is deaf or hard of hearing. This is delivered through talk which involves active participation of those attending. I have carried out a number of talks in various venues around Scotland.

For 8 months I supported a child with ADHD who posed challenging and at times violent behaviour through her daily timetable. I also spent 2 months at Canaan Campus for children with profound additional support needs involving feeding and personal care.
