Specialising in HR strategy, I lead the HR Consultancy practice at The Curve Group. I am responsible for all aspects of our HR consultancy delivery, including provision of HR Director level support directly to clients, working closely with leadership teams to shape and deliver HR strategies, curating and delivering professional Learning and Development programmes, conducting HR function and process audits, and shaping and executing personalised HR solutions for our customers. Major achievements in my current role include:• Implementation of a company-wide Health and Safety System, leading to dramatically improved results from all Environmental Health visits/audits• Implementation of staff training programme, covering sales performance, customer service and 121 follow-up coaching• Mobilisation of new contracts, including recruitment and training of new employees, resulting in achievement of all targets from day 1 each contract

Responsible for the service quality and performance management across 25 Barclays Branches and 250 individuals across the Oxford Area.• In the absence of an Area Director, I ran the area singlehandedly for 5 months, raising its position in the National league tables by 50 places• Recruited external talent into the area, managing their ongoing development to help them succeed• Delivered workshops and team sessions, writing and delivering both a Customer Service Road-Show and Savings Expert workshop• Encouraged and supported my people to consider themselves managers of their own locations, responsible for challenging and growing their teams to produce quality sales leads

Through my application of firm performance management techniques, I built a team which delivered 127% of the objective for 2006. I successfully changed the culture into a high performance team whereby they freely challenged each other and found underperformance unacceptable.• I developed a sales management approach that included daily calls and goal setting around productivity and client experience• Wrote and delivered a range of training sessions, including a computer based training programme, which was rolled out across the South West, implementing a new way of working for all the Mortgage Advisors• I used customer care calls to deliver timely feedback and daily conference calls for communication and challenge• Improved the cross sale of legal & general policies to mortgage customers from 35% to 79% during the course of a year

Led a team of eight Mortgage Training and Competence Managers based across the wide geographical area of the South West. Responsible for driving up product knowledge, sales skills, service and compliance for all mortgage sellers to ensure the region was fit for business come regulation of the mortgage industry by the FSA. • Ensured the training plan was aligned to the operational and business needs thus ensuring that skills could be developed against a backdrop of consistent sales performance• Pulled together the training team into a professional and cohesive unit that became self-sufficient in managing a number of Disciplinary and Grievance situations that had arisen across the region

A key role within the Retail Network to lead the sales, service, customer and colleague satisfaction levels. The role included leading over 120 staff based within 11 branches in the Thames & Oxford Area.• Successfully increased the Area Performance across all products by 34%• Led on the recruitment of quality individuals by holding recruitment events and conducting all assessments and interviews myself

A key role to drive and support Mortgage Sales throughout the Barclays Retail Network. This role included target negotiations, communications and adding value to the Marketing and Promotional teams on behalf of the Mortgage Sales Force.• Pulled together a National Trading Period, around the Promotion of the Openplan Mortgage for the Barclays Retail Network, resulting in an uplift of business from £440m to £520m.
