I was the footwear allocation analyst for the Memphis based company City Gear. My experience included successfully maximizing profitability by evaluating store performance and allocating footwear through strategizing and assortment planning. I worked closely with the associate buyers and divisional merchandising managers. My Microsoft office proficiency includes database management, spreadsheet management, cost-benefit analysis, modeling, and performance tracing and evaluation. My goals included working in stores to gain experience and learn more from the front lines, attend OTB meetings, and acquire knowledge from all corners of the company. I left City Gear in the beginning of 2015 to pursue a nursing degree. However, I feel that my heart belongs in retail. I am open to new job opportunities!In regards to my other interests, I am a strong advocate for healthy lifestyles, human and animal rights, and protecting the environment. Personal interests include physical activity such as running and cycling, as well as extensive reading and travel.
