Project manager for developing connectivity between mainframe pricing application and in-store systems. Included working with Home Office buyers, financial teams, marketing, store managers, file maintenance clerks, department managers and various development teams.Project manager for implementation of a QA lab for verification and rollout of all store system changes. Lab was setup with hardware and software of a typical store backend office. The lab was used to troubleshoot help desk calls, build and test disaster recovery processes and verify. Creation of the lab enabled quicker response to store problems, efficient help desk response and quicker turnaround of system fixes.Project manager for implementation of high availability on the communication processor used to send updates to the store systems. Pricing of products, a business critical function, was automatically updated at the store to be in-sync with store ads. The communication network needed to be available at all times. Project included installation of HACMP and Oracle, duel RS/6000 processors, failover testing and implementation.Along with Project Management responsibilities, was also responsible for performance evaluations, training recommendations, performance improvement plans and work load scheduling of up to 5 staff members.
