I have a degree In animal and veterinary bioscience as well as a recent graduate from Sydney University Doctor of veterinary medicine. During my studies I conducted two research projects one in the area of pain management for mulesing in merino sheep. I obtained a scholarship from the Australian Wool Education Trust for this project. The second research project was looking into the prevalence of brucellosis suis and leptospirosis in Namadgi National Park ACT. I also took part in a field school which took me to Laos to learn about food security in developing countries. In my spare time I manage and run a family owned fine merino wool sheep property in bungonia NSW. During my time managing the flock I have increase the amount of wool cut per head as well as identified and decreased the prevalence of worm resistance on the property.
