I am a ceramic artist, teacher and co-owner of Honeybourne Pottery Studio. Together with my partner Alan, we design and make our own range of tableware from our studio in Honeybourne, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the North Cotswolds. Our work is refined yet still has a natural, relaxed feel. We specialise in both wheel-thrown and slab-built pottery using stoneware clay, hand glazed and high fired to over 1200 degrees centigrade. Each piece from our tableware collection, Cusack Ceramics is made from start to finish entirely by us.When were not busy making our own designs, we teach pottery classes catering for individuals, families and groups; suitable for complete beginners to those with more experience. Our studio and tranquil setting, create a calm space away from the stresses of the outside world, where people can escape for a few mindful hours learning about the beauty of clay. Prior to opening the studio, I lived & worked in London working in Fashion. I pursued my love of ceramics on a part-time basis while working. In 2014 I decided to have a career change, following dreams of running my own creative business in the world or ceramics. I love the simplicity and slower pace ceramics brings - a huge contrast to my old more corporate lifestyle!
