Current• Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders within the supply chain organisation and manufacturing sites at all levels to ensure compliance with UK and foreign import/export regulations. • Work with supply chain and other internal stakeholders to ensure that customs and trade compliance aspects are considered at an early stage and dealt with in a timely manner and that projects teams create and maintain plans which address Trade Compliance aspects throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead the development and execution of Independent Business Reviews and Management Monitoring programs to assess compliance with sanctions and export controls for manufacturing sites, supply chain services and other business functions based on the risk assessment strategy agreed to ensure compliance with KPIs across import or export business functions. • Provide compliance advice to UK Imports Team for all company imports into the by running a Centre of Excellence service UK. This includes providing advice on import filings, ensuring compliance with UK import licenses and permits, HMRC Regulations, management of customs authorisations, providing instructions to customs brokers, managing monitoring program of the UK imports operations, including transactional audits or entries, participate in monthly and quarterly customs brokerage reviews. • Provide advice and maintain Trade Compliance and Customs oversight for operations in the EMEA region.• Review compliance with Free Trade Agreements based on company standards. • Prepare for and support internal / external audits relating to Customs and Trade Compliance matters. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as customs authorities and other government agencies when required.• Monitor and review regulations changes in the EU, UK, US from the relevant authorities, e.g. HMRC, EU Commission, etc. and the applicability of the regulatory updates to maintain high compliance standards.
