In my role, I evaluate patients' injuries to determine the appropriate type and size of cast, splint, or brace as prescribed by the provider. I take the time to verify health insurance and discuss cost estimates with patients to ensure they are well-informed. Once I have assessed the situation, I skillfully apply the necessary casts, splints, or braces to immobilize and protect broken bones, sprains, or other musculoskeletal injuries.I also prioritize educating patients on how to care for their injuries. This includes providing guidance on proper hygiene practices and informing them about signs of potential complications. When the time comes, I safely remove the casts and splints once the injury has healed sufficiently.In addition to these responsibilities, I maintain an inventory of the necessary equipment and clinical supplies to ensure everything is readily available. Throughout this process, I have developed a strong understanding of how to handle stressful and emotional situations, offering a gentle and calming presence to my patients. I’ve adapted to working long hours under heavy workloads while consistently maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

In my role, I assisted the surgeon during procedures, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I prioritized patient care by calming nervous individuals and providing compassionate support throughout their experience. Before surgery, I educated patients about what to expect and the necessary post-operative care, helping to alleviate their concerns.I prepared the surgical area meticulously, ensuring that everything was in place for the procedure. Additionally, I entered patient data into the computer system, strictly adhering to privacy laws while maintaining a high level of accuracy. My responsibilities also included performing X-rays and sanitizing trays, instruments, and surfaces to uphold a clean and safe dental office environment.As part of my duties, I measured and recorded patients' vital signs. Under the supervision of the physician, I administered anesthesia, assisting in both patient preparation and recovery during the anesthetic sedation process. Finally, I managed office maintenance and regulated inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies were available and organized.
