About Anna De Lucia
I started my professional career as a bachelor's degree student trainee at the IRCCS Istituto Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori Dino Amadori, where I gained expertise in cell culture, preclinical pharmacology, and molecular biology, focusing on doxorubicin resistance in triple-negative breast cancer. Subsequently, I furthered my knowledge in immunotherapy at San Raffaele Hospital, working on my Master's degree thesis with chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) in vitro and in vivo. I then continued as a post-graduate trainee in the CAR T Adoptive Cell Therapy Unit at IRST. Currently, I am a PhD student at the University of Bologna, where I am working on identifying new CARs for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). I recently started a new position as a PhD researcher at IDIBAPS in Barcelona, evaluating the efficacy of advanced therapies against T-ALL and T-cell lymphoma.
