I am an advisor and coach for new and continuing students in various programs, including Running Start. I also serve as an Exempt Consortium representative on College Assembly and the DEI Committee, and am a member of the emergency funding committee.

I serve as part of a collaborative team of editors, reading submissions, recommending edits, and selecting stories for publication in the journal.

As an Editorial Board member, I read fiction and poetry submissions, recommend edits, and assist in selecting texts for publication. I also assist with the annual Nimrod Conference, offering conference attendees one-on-one editorial feedback/workshop sessions on their poetry and fiction.

I taught literature, composition, research-writing, developmental writing, and EAP courses to undergraduate students attending Kean University's branch campus in Wenzhou, China. I also was managing editor of the student literary journal and a member of the English Curriculum Committee.

I was a founding editor of Lighthouse and formerly Lead Prose Editor. I read, selected, and edited fiction and feature articles for publication in the journal, solicited articles and wrote editorials, planned and facilitated issue launch and reading events, and assisted with advertising. Lighthouse won the Saboteur Award for Best Literary Journal in 2015.

I taught creative writing, composition, and literature courses to undergraduate and graduate students. I taught the publication course that produced the student literary journal. As one of two instructors responsible for running the creative writing major, I organized the creative writing day of the annual English conference, selected and hired writers for visiting writer events, and facilitated poetry in the schools and other community outreach events and programs.

I planned and taught a range of literature, composition, research writing, and creative writing courses. I also served as World Literature Coordinator for the Wenzhou campus, as well as Creative Writing Club Advisor, Model UN Advisor, and the English Dept. representative on the Vice Chancellor's Lecture Series organizing committee.

I led seminars, set coursework, graded exams, lectured, and in some cases selected texts for a wide range of literature and writing courses. I served as the Lead Organizer for a London-based creative and critical writing conference for students and faculty of CHASE group universities as well as literary agents, editors, and other publishing professionals.

I managed administrative and teaching staff, handled billing and payroll, and served as registrar for a small independent school.

I designed individualized curriculum and facilitated English and history classes for high school students in a homeschool support program. I also tutored students in math.

I held tutoring sessions and graded exams for various lecture-based Classical Studies classes as well as provided copyediting and research assistance.

I led weekly discussion seminars and graded exams for courses such as Introduction to East Asian Civilizations and Introduction to Western Civilization 1713-Present.

I provided individual and group tutoring and homework support in an after-school tutoring program. Primary subjects were English and math.
