I was responsible for Project Managing an organisation-wide wide project using the Lean Six Sigma approach, with a particular focus on ensuring “voice of customer” results were utilised to introduce pilot processes for monitoring and evaluation.I prepared and presented project tollgates to the CEO and Executive stakeholders of the organisation to update them on project progress and outcomes. I also evaluated project results and facilitated discussions with key stakeholders to identify trends and generate possible solutions

I managed all functions relating to Patient Billing, Receipting and Debtor Follow up for Melbourne Health and lead a team of up to 30 staff with 4 direct reports.During this time I successfully lead a project to centralise the Administrative, Patient Liaison, Billing, Debtor, and Receipting functions within Melbourne Health, streaming processes and creating efficiencies. I also analysed multiple revenue avenues and identified additional revenue opportunities.I managed the implementation of new IT applications with relation to their impact on revenue systems within the organisation.

My was role to investigate current practices within the organisation to establish revenue pathways from a customer service and financial perspective with particular focus on billing and debtor follow up activities. I improved several processes and procedures resulting in significant increase in private patient uptake and reduction in aged debtors. I was also able to identify opportunities for additional billing and potential untapped revenue.
