Current- Refer an average of 20 Medicaid Workflows daily to various operation areas and units, via the Intranet Quorum software
- Direct Emergency Medicaid cases daily via Email, to appropriately selected units, ensuring that each consumer in need, receives the services they require promptly
- Oversee Time and Leave for staff members in the unit; put together appraisals on a yearly basis monitoring the work of each direct report, as well as advise on steps to take towards improvement
- Supervise a unit of 12 people, overseeing the staff as they receive telephone calls, provide information and prepare and present training materials
- Ensure the employees’ daily schedules are on track; compile vacation calendars for the unit every four months
- Respond to telephone requests from Providers, Nursing Homes, Social Services agencies, elected officials as well as other NY City agencies regarding Medicaid Eligibility and communicate the information clearly and in a.
