  Since completing a PhD in population genetics, Anna has been employed at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) in a number of roles, most notably as a team member of the Melbourne Children's LifeCourse Research Initiative (https://lifecourse.melbournechildrens.com/). The LifeCourse project’s primary goals are to promote awareness of and foster collaboration between the various research groups on the Melbourne Children’s Campus (including MCRI, The University of Melbourne and The Royal Children’s Hospital), develop resources and provide upskilling opportunities to our researchers, and promote our research to the general scientific community. To reach those goals, the LifeCourse website describes over 35 different studies, with more than 200 data collection waves across our core studies, and since 2021, LifeCourse has facilitated data access requests for 100 studies and held over 80 forums with more than 2200 attendees. With responsibilities evolving according to project needs, Anna's role within the LifeCourse team has previously included focusing on researcher engagement and project coordination. In more recent years, the position has focused more heavily on an infrastructure and resource development role. Key recent achievements include developing a new Data Management Plan template, including online portal (REDCap); a Data Access Request Portal that enables a centralised but federated request process for LifeCourse-affiliated projects (REDCap, Power BI); a Data Dictionary resource; and a PhD and Postdoctoral Support Program.
