I am currently an Engineer at Element Materials Technology in Cleveland where I test metal aerospace parts to make sure they meet customer specifications and certifications such as ASTM, AMS, and ISO certs. I was a graduate research assistant at wright state university I'm working on a project for the Air Force Research Laboratory involving additively manufactured Inconel 718 for turbine engines. I have graduated with a graduate degree in Materials Engineering and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio university. I did research at Kent State University during my senior year of high school. I worked there for two semesters and worked on three different projects with different Professors and grad students. In my first semester, I did research on liquid crystals and how various solvents affected their physical appearance. After that, I ran an experiment to determine if UV light exposure affected their electrical conductivity. The third experiment dealt with Physics rather than chemistry. It was an experiment run to determine how molecular shape and density affected movement when those molecules are vibrating. I simulated this using round beads in a container for the molecules and a speaker to provide vibration. I intended to test beads with different shapes but I did not have time to run those experiments. I also did research in corrosion at Ohio University. There I calibrated a program designed to predict water droplet size in pipelines with moving fluid. While I did not run the experiments to get data for the program I did do extensive statistical Analysis with excel to compare the mathematical model to the observed data from the experiments that were run. I worked for Spirol International as an engineering intern and I currently work part-time for Ohio University as a Research Assistant.
