I am an abstract artist painting in oils on canvas, and based Kingston-upon-Thames in South West London. I have been a professional artist for just under two years and sold my first painting in The John Banyan local church in July 2016. Although not a formally trained artist I have always had a good eye for colour. Painting has become an important and positive part of my day-to-day life since being diagnosed recently with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD. I find painting a creative outlet through which to express myself and to switch off and relax. I paint in oils on canvas intuitively, working in a spontaneous style using colour to guide form and not the other way round. My works are untitled until you give them a title. Whatever they inspire in you... be it a helpful tool for your spiritual journey, memories of a loved one or a favourite place - the choice is yours. I gain pleasure in the different ways people of all ages react to my work and on occasion the strong emotions it stirs up in them. My paintings are vibrant and tactile and I am amazed at the way people see different images within them.I have also taken the images from my paintings and used them on clothing, cushions and greeting cards creating a completely unique range of my own designs. I have exhibited locally at Cass Art Kingston, The Willow Clinic New Malden, Kingston United Reform church, The Mind Mystery Art Fair, Twickenham and Ham Craft Fairs.
