Howdy! I am Anna Miley, a Junior Ocean Engineering Major at Texas A&M University. Beyond school, I plan to pursue offshore structures, offshore renewable energy, offshore oil, or underwater robotics. At university, I am involved with the Women in Robotics, Engineering, and Development program (formerly known as Women in Engineering) where I am on the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle project team (AUV), I am a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a member of the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT), and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME). Outside of the classroom and my organizations, I work on campus as a 24-hour Student Desk Coordinator in Hullabaloo Hall. I have technical skills with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Python, Java, and can work in both Windows and Linux environments. My soft skills include time management, customer relations, and leadership.
