Recent projects include:Featured track on Pacific Heights album "Lost Light" as EDIE, contributing vocal lines for Rhian Sheehan's new album "A Quiet Divide", including touring live with his 9 piece band, the voice of "The Mantis" in Tane Upjohn Beatson's score for Weta Workshops "Bugs" exhibition, featured singing voice in Gallipoli - Scale of Our War exhibition, spoken word & vocals for UK based electronic band SpaceFight, coordinated and sung in 16 piece choir for various films such as Tim Prebble's Award winning score for "One Thousand Ropes".I play synths live and do BVs for acclaimed Wellington synth pop band, "Physical", with Nik Brinkman and Julia Catherine Parr.

The Commercial Music course at Massey University is one of NZ's most innovative music departments. I coordinate multiple undergraduate courses, lecture and mentor first, second and third year students in musicianship, musicology and cross-genre performance using instruments/voice or musical interfaces, along with computer-based production and compositional techniques. This role has called upon my ability to assimilate large amounts of information, and clearly communicate complex ideas to people from all backgrounds. It has also utilised my people skills - my ability to nurture those around me, and to take responsibility for building high quality learning experiences and positive learning cultures for students.

Currently undertaking doctorate research. The working title of my thesis is "Gender Disparity in Music Production in Aotearoa: Interventional Strategies for Change."The process of doing a PhD has enabled me to hone my skills in ethnography, highly effective time and project management, deep assimilation and communication of complex and varying data and information. One of the biggest interventions of my PhD has been building capacity and community for women in music production - a sense of belonging within a supportive and inspirational community is the first (and biggest) step towards empowering others to engage and thrive in a seemingly hostile/exclusive environment.

I have been working as an advisor and collaborator to Yumi Labs, exploring and re-imagining what a Digital Music Label can be in the context of Web3, now and into the future.

I write, record and produce music under the pseudonym of EDIE, using the voice, software, hardware and whatever sound making object I can find. Sitting in similar sonic worlds to Massive Attack, Bjork, Thom Yorke, Jon Hopkins and Rival Consoles, I enjoy manipulating vocals, making synths, rhythm and soundscapes out of sampled vocal and instrumental sounds.You can check out some of my music and projects I have been involved with here: ediemusic.org . In this role, I endeavour to grow the public profile of the Arts Foundation through media relations, events and through online and offline communications, including the Arts Foundation's annual publication, Applause Magazine. I contribute at high levels of discussion and strategy, and execute arising tasks to a high standard. I oversee the Arts Foundation's digital marketing and engagement channels, and manage, maintain and report on Google Adwords and Google Analytics. Everything I do in this role requires strong, genuine relationship management with a huge range of stakeholders including, but not limited to artists, patrons and sponsors and partners. I help position the Arts Foundation as a regular commentator for the arts, maintain working relationships with national media journalists and contacts, establish and maintain a public relations strategy for the Arts Foundation, devise media plans, stories, angles and releases for the promotion of the Arts Foundation and any of its major announcements including awards and other programmes, monitor media activity for opportunities for the Arts Foundation to participate, and monitor ROI public relations campaignsEvents I have managed (from event logistics to event publicity & PR), include, the New Zealand Arts Awards 2016 & 2017, Arts Foundation Icon Awards 2018 in collaboration with Government House, regional touring events, including Laureates On Stage, Devil in the Parlour featuring Delaney Davidson, and Songs & Stories from the Ice featuring Warren Maxwell. I also work closely with the Arts Foundation Executive Director to run the annual Arts Foundation Patronage Campaign, implementing annual strategies in communication, events and being the first port of call for philanthropists and donors who want to give, or continue giving to the Arts Foundation.
