In 2011 I co-founded the Cancer Garage Sale after three of my best friends parents were diagnosed with cancer. We organized the Cancer Garage Sale by collecting donated items throughout the year from everyone in the community, spending all summer organizing them in our donated warehouse, and then, opened the doors to shoppers for multiple weekends in.
