A full time position involving all aspects of the asset life cycle of electricity and gas meters and the associated components. This is everything from forecasting, purchasing, dispatching to service providers to install, and then arranging for refurbishment or disposal of the asset once it is removed from the field. • Makings decisions and ensuring activities are efficiently managed through the asset life cycle. Responsible for using projected forecasts against current install rates and stock holdings to determine required amount to be ordered to cover future installations, considering supply times. This involves creating purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and receipting when received, this is done using the SAP system. Any delays in stock arrival need to be efficiently communicated to both internal and external stake holders that would be affected by any delay. The asset is then managed though dispatch, install and removal. Once removed a decision is made to refurbish the asset or if it is disposed of. In order to complete this many different parties need to be engaged and many different systems such as SAP, Service Max and Excel are used• Process development is something in my current role that I excel at. This is being able to see the bigger picture on how things can be run more efficiently and then divide the process into manageable portions or tasks to determine what can be achieved quickly and what will take longer to implement, while also balancing the priority of the business.

It was mainly a telephone based role however there is an element of written communication (emails, case management and data entry) involved also.Key Responsibilities:• Dealt with many different and varied queries such as explaining phone bills, requesting installs of new phone lines, modifying current phone connections and logging faults. This job required many different skills to be used in conjunction with each other.• Listened to customers, empathised with their situation and determined what resolution they were seeking and offered advice or took action to resolve the issues.• Liaised with a variety of key teams within the organisation to deliver what the customer was expecting using effective coordination and time management.
