Profile bio

About Anna Esaka

I graduated with a BBA in Marketing at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a Women's and Gender Studies minor, Japanese certificate, and Bridging Disciplines Program Conflict Resolution & Peace Studies certificate. Throughout my time at UT Austin, I have had the opportunity to study in France, South Korea, and Denmark. My study abroad experiences and my Japanese heritage sparked my interest in researching marketing and management through a cultural lens. Since high school, I have devoted my time to tutoring my peers and underclassmen. And now I also work as a teaching assistant for the College of Natural Sciences (Textiles and Apparel) and the McCombs School of Business (Entrepreneurship). Bringing confidence to students in their academic abilities has always been a passion of mine. I want to guide students and offer opportunities that I was given as a student. My goal is to empower the next generation of youth globally by becoming a professor (marketing, management, entrepreneurship).
