This Summer I have re-started my involvement with Dr. Taylor's research at Duke's Social Science Research Institute. From 1970 until the present we are investigating potential different treatment of patients by race in North Carolina and the experiences of physicians and trainee physicians by race in North Carolina. Currently Serving as a Platoon Leader for the 343rd Medical Company Ground Ambulance

I worked with Dr. Donald Taylor to conduct archival research on Duke Hospital and the Private Diagnostic Clinic as part of the American South Project for Duke’s Social Science Research Institute. Through this work we investigated the role of race and class in the health structures and record narratives about disparate care in Duke’s health system.

Supporting the implementation of recommended policy surrounding COVID-19 response, early childhood, the opioid epidemic, and Medicaid transformation.
