In the Nursing care environment there is a finesse to the communication skills required as well as the ability to hold presence for patients and their loving family members. I have a passion for teaching selfcare and maintaining boundaries for professionals, education in communication, conflict resolution and workshop facilitation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill and have worked in nursing research as well as nursing training and coaching. In 2014, also from McGill, I obtained a diploma in Human Relations and Family Life Education with a focus on leadership, workshop facilitation, communication and adult education. My clinical background includes neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pain management, geriatrics and rehabilitation. As a bilingual facilitator, I enjoy creating and delivering in-service training for healthcare professionals, offering clinical understanding to research staff, psycho-educational seminars to patients and families, research education for clinicians and research project promotion within the community.
