I am excited to say that I recently began my career as a junior software engineer at Infinity Labs. I am so thankful for the opportunity to enhance the skills I learned in school, internships, and my personal projects with this company! In pursuit of my bachelor’s degree at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), I completed and excelled in computer science courses including Object-Oriented Design, UNIX/Linux Programming, and Analysis of Algorithms, Big Data, and Numerical Optimization. I helped other students also reach their academic goals in these classes as a Master Tutor and Academic Coach with UAH’s Student Success Center. This job not only allowed me to use what I learned in class, but also communicate these ideas more effectively to others. The interpersonal skills I relied on as a tutor was developed through my volunteer endeavors. As a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, I have led donation initiatives for local veterans. In other roles, I have facilitated STEM camps and competitions for primary school students in order to further their interest in STEM-related fields.Last summer, I became a Cybersecurity Intern with NTT DATA Services. I worked remotely with an outstanding team of analysts and data engineers to optimize their report generation process. With this team, I participated in sprint planning, stand-ups, brown-bags, and code reviews. In the summer of 2022, I worked in-person at Northrop Grumman as a Software/Systems Engineering Intern. At this internship, I primarily supported Jenkins pipeline infrastructure development, and added a continuously updating webpage consisting of real-time simulation data to my team's pipeline.In all of my pursuits, I love to meet new people and grow my network.
