Since 2001, I have worked in both the public and private sectors on a wide-range of legal and policy issues involving most sectors of the energy industry. While in the public sector, topic areas have included electric and natural gas matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission including: electric matters related to PJM Interconnection, L.L.C., ISO New England Inc., and Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc., and bilateral markets in the Southeastern United States; interstate natural gas matters, including rates and certificates and gas-electric coordination matters; oil pipeline matters; and matters related to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation and the reliability of the bulk-power system. In the private sector, topic areas included regulatory and transactional matters involving utilities, interstate natural gas pipeline companies, electric generators, municipalities, and large industrials.
