Assigned to be the Managing Surveyor for the Cost Management Team of the Programme Assurance Section. Responsible in managing a group of experienced cost consultants and tasked to generate cost related information for various business units within the Central Planning Office of Doha, Qatar.• The team is responsible in ensuring that all interfaces between projects are commercially reviewed and analysed. Cost estimates and recommendations are then produced to enable the Central Planning Office to assist their various stakeholders in the prioritization of the projects such as the Doha Metro, Asghals’s various Expressway projects and Local Roads and Drainage upgrading and development works.• The team is also responsible for preparing Cost Plans and producing high level cost estimates for various government projects for the upcoming FIFA 2022. My role as the head of the team is not only to ensure that the team meets the set target and deliverables but also engage directly with Stakeholder’s in order to establish relationship and repeat business.
