I am a Higher Education Careers professional with experience in one-to-one career guidance, embedding employability into the curriculum and designing and delivering teaching materials to support career development learning.I am passionate about helping students make career decisions, recognise and develop skills for the future. I also enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students get the most out of their time at University. I have over a decade of experience in HE careers services, and I have a professional qualification in Careers Education, Information and Guidance in HE and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have experience of presenting to a wide range of audiences, managing projects, building and managing relationships with stakeholders. I am also interested in widening participation in Higher Education and supporting underrepresented groups to achieve their potential. Outside of my work, I am interested in languages, translation and travel, and I occasionally undertake voluntary translation work from Spanish to English for charities and NGOs.
