My rotations consisted of 10 4.5 week rotations through some of NYC's best hospitals. I have been exposed to both inpatient and outpatient settings with diverse populations who present with a range of illnesses and injuries. I have become proficient in conducting patient histories, physical exams and patient education. I also have experience in: venipuncture, collection of cultures, ABG draws, placement of catheters, Papanicolaou cytology smears, surgical scrubbing, wound care and dressing changes, closure of wounds via suture, staples, and dermabond, incision and drainage, and casting and splinting.
