Hi! My name's Anna. I'm a fourth-year Biomedical Science undergraduate student at Trent University, and member of the Medical Professional Stream (MPS). I am passionately dedicated to carving a path toward a career in medicine. Trent’s MPS has provided me with unparalleled guidance and support, equipping me with the necessary skills and experiences to excel in my journey towards medical school.I've had the privilege of selecting a major in Biomedical Science. This unique program has not only broadened my academic horizons but has also provided me with personalized mentorship, experiential learning opportunities, and essential support.Beyond academics, I am a proud member of the Trent University women's varsity rugby team. In addition, I thrive on new experiences and actively seek opportunities for innovation and creative problem-solving. My passion for continuous learning extends beyond the classroom, as I regularly volunteer, take on leadership roles such as serving as the President of the Trent University Hockey Club, and enjoy coaching young girls in sport.In my pursuit of professional development, I currently serve as an Academic Assistant in an Introductory Cell and Molecular Biology class lab, where I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and fostering the learning journey of others. Eager to further develop my professional and soft skills, I am particularly drawn to opportunities within patient care and research settings.
